£20,000 - £27,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with this well established, dynamic accountancy firm based in the Wilmslow area to source an Accounts and Audit Assistant.

The Role:

• The preparation of year end accounts for a range of clients from sole traders through to large limited companies
• The preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Assist on the occasional audit from planning phase, through to completion
• Maintain existing client relationships by working with other team members to deliver a timely, professional service

Your Experience:

• You will ideally be studying your AAT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• You must currently be working in a practice environment
• Audit experience would be advantageous but if you have been doing accounts preparation and would like to receive audit training then my client is very happy to provide this

Audit Senior

Northwich

£28,000 - £36,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with the Northwich office of this established accountancy firm to source an Audit Senior for their growing team.

The Role:

• Leading audits from planning through to completion
• Take responsibility for audit timescales, budgets and risk management procedures
• Lead and develop junior members of the audit team
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships as the key point of contact on engagement
• Some accounts preparation for sole traders through to large, limited companies
• Get involved with business development activities and identify opportunities for futher business with existing clients

Your Experience:

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• You must have audit experience within a UK practice environment
