£17,000 - £20,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with the Wilmslow Office of an exciting and dynamic UK business to find an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

• Preparation of accounts up to trial balance
• Administration and maintenance of both the purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Month end bank reconciliations
• Receipt and processing of all invoices, expense forms and payment requests
• Cash allocation and payment runs
• The preparation of monthly reports

Your Experience:

• You will have prior experience in some or all of the above
• You will ideally be studying your AAT or equivalent
• You will have strong Excel skills and familiarity with Sage 50 would be beneficial

Accounts Assistant

Knutsford

£18,000 - £22,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with a global business based in the Knutsford area to source an Accounts Assistant for their growing team. The successful applicant will assist the Finance Manager with all finance functions.

The Role:

• Assist with the preparation of month accounts
• Dealing with customer and supplier invoices
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Management of purchase and sales ledger
• Cash allocation
• Assist with occasional credit control duties
• Assist with payroll

Your Experience:

• Currently working within an accounts department
• You will ideally be part-qualified/qualified AAT/equivalent
• You must have strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Excel and Sage
• Multi-currency experience would be beneficial but not a necessity
