£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working an established business in Chester who is currently looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team. The business is at an exciting stage in their development and is looking for someone with ample experience to run their payroll services.

The Role:

• Ideal for someone who is not looking to manage too many staff right away
• You will be responsible for end to end payroll services including weekly through to fortnightly and four weekly
• Calculating expenses, bonuses, mileage, overtime
• Processing starters and leavers
• Resolving client and HMRC queries

Your Experience:

• A number of years' experience with all aspects of Payroll
• You will ideally have Sage 50 Payroll knowledge though this is not essential
• Experience within an accountancy firm/payroll bureau ideal

Purchase Ledger Clerk

Chester

£16,000 - £23,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with the Chester office of this large, established business with a turnover in the millions.

The Role:

• Raising customer and purchase invoices
• Assisting with credit control duties
• Bank reconciliations
• Weekly payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations

Your Experience:

• You will currently be working as a purchase ledger clerk/accounts payable clerk
• Strong experience with Sage and Excel are a necessity
