£30,000 - £40,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with the Wilmslow office of a growing and acquisitive business to find a Financial Controller to manage their finance team.

The Role:

• The production of accurate and detailed financial reports forecasting, analysis, management information and reconciliations
• The control and allocation of the financial budget
• Productions of profit & loss analysis and management accounts
• Preparation of accounts up to trial balance
• Liaise with HMRC and all statutory bodies to ensure compliance
• Strategic decision making for the business
• Have a key role in the growth of the wider business

Your Experience:

• You will ideally have prior experience as a financial controller
• You will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
• You will have experience across all of the above duties

Financial Controller

Chester

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working an award-winning, rapidly expanding business in the Chester area to source a Financial Controller for their growing team.

The Role:

• Responsibility for managing a small finance team
• Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly and yearly management and statutory accounts
• Develop budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparation of audit files and VAT returns
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Manage both sales and purchase ledger responsibilities
• Manage cash allocation processes

Your Experience:

• You will be CIMA/ACCA qualified/almost qualified/equivalent
• You must possess excellent communication skills
• You must have strong IT skills - experience with Excel and Sage would be beneficial
