Chester

£18,000 - £25,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with the Chester office of a well-respected, award winning Cheshire business to source an Accounts Assistant for their growing team. The successful applicant will assist the Finance Manager with all finance functions.

The Role:

• Assist with the preparation of month-end accounts
• Dealing with customer and supplier invoices
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Management of purchase and sales ledger
• Cash allocation
• Assist with occasional credit control duties
• Assist with payroll

Your Experience:

• Currently working within an accounts department
• You will ideally be part-qualified/qualified AAT/equivalent
• You must have strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Excel. Sage experience would be beneficial.

Accounts Assistant

Crewe

£15,000 - £21,000 per annum

GSS Recruitment is working with an award winning global business in the Crewe area to source an Accounts Assistant for their growing team.

The Role:

• Processing invoices
• Amending purchase orders
• Matching, batching, coding and general invoice management
• Updating financial reports
• Sales order processing
• Managing vendor accounts for anomalies that may cause payment or supplier relationship issues
• Dealing with bank reconciliations
• Cash allocation
• Credit control duties

Your Experience:

• You will ideally be working towards or have completed your AAT or equivalent
• You must have strong IT skills - experience with Excel and Sage would be beneficial
• You must have had experience in a similar role before
